Man United favourites to pull off another Pogba-like deal in Mourinho reshuffle

Over the course of the summer, the Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern were dancing on the pool tables when the Red Devils welcomed Paul Pogba back to the club.

The prodigal son had finally returned at a world-record expense and the United fans largely ignored just what a blunder it was in letting the Frenchman leave for Juventus in the first place.

However, the Old Trafford giants have not learned their lesson, it seems.

Backed by the latest SkyBet odds, the club are just 5/1 to re-sign Michael Keane of Burnley, having also let the 23-year-old go for pittance a few years ago.

In fact, the Clarets defender even played with Pogba at youth level, in a team that also included the likes of Jesse Lingard and Ravel Morrison.

Such is the nature of his stunning form, he’s recently been called up to the last two England squads and was linked with a big-money move to Chelsea.

Summer signing Eric Bailly recently suffered a serious injury, while doubts about Jose Mourinho’s trust in Chris Smalling have recently been raised.

Would Keane be a good signing for Man United? Let us know below…
