Man United giving serious thought to making move for Spaniard

Much has been made about Manchester United’s midfield recently, with Paul Pogba failing to instantly live up to the hype.

With Wayne Rooney dropped into a deeper role and then dropped altogether, the Red Devils in the Transfer Tavern have been waxing lyrical about their engine room.

However, thanks to reports from Spanish outlet Super Deportethey could soon have another name to contend with.

They claim the Old Trafford titans are seriously interested in signing Valencia midfielder Fran Villalba.

The 18-year-old was ironically given his debut with Los Che by United legend Gary Neville during his ill-fated stint in charge at the Mestalla.

Scouts are reportedly telling top brass at the Theatre of Dreams to conclude a deal for the Spaniard, who is thought to have a €4m release clause in his deal.

It is further explained the English giants are giving serious thought to making a move.

Amid the problems at the club this season, the talented teen has been relegated to the bench of late, after breaking into the first-team last term.
