Man United holding talks with La Liga side over potential summer move

The Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern are excited to welcome Victor Lindelof to the club and hope the summer business continues under Jose Mourinho.

Expecting a major summer rebuild, our resident Red Devils are largely talking about potential big-name recruits, though understand the self-proclaimed ‘Special One’ also has to sell in order to make room.

With that in mind, reports from the Daily Mail have gone down a treat indeed. They claim United are in talks with Spanish outfit Real Sociedad over the potential sale of Adnan Januzaj this summer.

The Belgian has struggled to build upon the early promise he showed under David Moyes what seems like a lifetime ago and flopped during a loan stint with Scot at Sunderland.

La Real are believed to have held discussions with United over a potential £8.8m move, though the Premier League giants are said to want some clauses. Firstly, they are thought to want to include a buy-back clause, as well as a sell-on clause.

A player of obvious talent, our resident drinkers believe that to be a good move, in case the 22-year-old ever realises his true potential.

Having been stung when selling Paul Pogba for pittance, our locals think it’s nice to see United potentially learning from their mistakes.
