Man United in stunning Bundesliga raid, Mourinho desperate for World Cup winner coup

Seeing their club signing a World Cup winner can never really be a bad thing for the fans in the Transfer Tavern, though the Manchester United supporting punters have certainly been burnt before.

Kleberson, anyone?

Still, reports emanating out of Germany that Jose Mourinho is keen on landing another man to have lifted football’s ultimate prize have been met with delight.

According to Bildthe self-proclaimed ‘Special One’ is ready to move for Wolfsburg star Julian Draxler, just a year after he joined the club.

The playmaker is one of the most highly rated talents in the continental game and Die Wölfe will reportedly demand a huge fee to prize him away from the club, certainly at a significant profit from the £25m they shelled out to Schalke last summer.

Currently on Euro 2016 duty with national side, the 22-year old has been strongly linked with moves to Arsenal in the past and has emerged as a regular for the world champions during the prolonged injury issues plaguing Marco Reus.

Will this summer finally see Draxler, one of the most highly rated talents in the game, arrive in the Premier League?
