Man United leading Arsenal and Man City in race for £10m Premier League contract rebel

Reece Oxford

It’s been quite the day at Old Trafford already with Louis van Gaal reportedly sacked and a deal for Jose Mourinho thought to be well on the way at long last.

As ever with a global institution such as the Red Devils however, the proverbial rumour mill does not stop churning there. Oh no, far from it.

According to ESPN, the Manchester giants are now leading the chase for highly rated West Ham youngster Reece Oxford and are willing to pay in excess of £10m in order to land him.

The 17-year old emerged as a hot prospect on the opening day of the season against Arsenal, though has been utilised sparingly by the Hammers ever since.

Able to operate in both defensive and midfield, the talented teen is also understood to have interested the likes of Arsenal and Manchester City as hype around him grows.

He is thought to have rejected a new deal in East London, reportedly prompting the Red Devils to make approaches over bringing him to the Theatre of Dreams.

Would Oxford get in the United team as things stand?
