Marcus Rashford has provided Manchester United fans with a glimpse inside training after the first team returned to Carrington ahead of the Premier League’s possible return next month.
Rashford is the Red Devils’ top goalscorer this season, scoring 19 goals for the club until he had to sit on the sidelines with a back injury before football was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.
United’s official Instagram account posted photos of the England international working out, which is surely an update supporters will love to see, as he looks to improve his fitness levels before the next phase of Project Restart.
Indeed, the comments section was flooded with hundreds of replies from eager fans.
The 22-year-old has bagged 14 goals and created four assists in just 22 games in this season’s Premier League under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, taking a whopping 3.4 shots on average, averaging two successful dribbles per game and making 1.1 key passes per game (WhoScored).
Solskjaer’s side are currently fifth in the Premier League, three points behind close rivals Chelsea, and the Reds will be relying on a fully-fit Rashford to fire them to Champions League football next season.
