The Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern feel as if they will be able to watch their club welcome world-class names to Old Trafford every summer now, such is the nature of their standing in world football once more.
Having broken the world record for Paul Pogba over the course of the summer, a move for compatriot Antoine Griezmann in a potential £100m deal to sign the Atletico Madrid superstar has been mooted as Jose Mourinho eyes world domination.
Still, it’s clear the Portuguese’s project at the Theatre of Dreams is still in its infancy and even qualification for the Champions League is far from guaranteed right now. However, Dean Jones of Bleacher Report has provided what could be a positive update for Red Devils all over the globe in regards to the fantastic Frenchman.
Griezmann now odds-on to join United in the summer. I'm told he will go ahead with the move even if they don't make top four

Jones reveals he’s been told a move for the 25-year-old will go ahead even if United DON’T qualify for the continent’s elite competition this term, having also landed Pogba without that particular allure in the summer just gone of course.
It’s music to the ears of the Red Devils in the bar, who believe Griezmann can help them restore former glories once more.
