Ahead of their Europa League clash later today, the Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern have been discussing the nature of life under Jose Mourinho.
The self-proclaimed ‘Special One’ was drafted into Old Trafford to help restore former glories and, to be fair, the Red Devils propping up the bar don’t think it’s as bad as recent results would have you believe.
In fact, they’re blaming a certain Marouane Fellaini more than Mourinho for the recent draw with Everton, with the bumbling Belgian giving away a late penalty.
For many of our punters, the 29-year-old is a symbol of the mediocre era in the wake of Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement in 2013, so reports from the Daily Mail have been welcomed.
They claim United are willing to listen to offers for the midfielder, though will only entertain permanent moves away, rather than a loan deal.
Will Fellaini be at Man United next year? Let us know below…
