All the Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern can talk about right now is who may potentially arrive at the Theatre of Dreams this summer in stunning blockbuster transfers.
While that’s all well and good, there will no doubt be some major departures from Old Trafford this summer as they prepare for what is likely to be a major summer of activity.
Outcast goalkeeper Victor Valdes has been strongly touted for an exit for some time now, with La Liga outfit Espanyol reportedly aiming to bring the World Cup winner back to the Barcelona region of his homeland.
However, according to Sport in a Storm, the Spanish stopper is in fact open to a move to another Premier League side upon the expiration of his deal with the Red Devils.
He only arrived in England back in January 2015, though fell out with manager Louis van Gaal and was left out of the club’s squads for both Premier League and Champions League competition.
Having recently returned from a loan spell with Standard Liege, the former Blaugrana stalwart is said to be open to the possibility of a move to another English outfit.
Would you take Valdes at your team? If so, as first-choice or a backup?
