Man United plotting major multi-million pound swoop for Martial’s former teammate

Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern have been left dreaming of a team filled with Galaticos, after hearing the latest reports concerning their beloved side.

The Sun claims Jose Mourinho has set his sights on Monaco ace Bernardo Silva and are ready to finance a whopping £70m at the end of the season.

22-year-old Silva is highly-rated in European football and the Red Devils will have to fend off rival interest from Real Madrid, with Zinedine Zidane’s side also said to be pushing to land the young midfielder this summer.

With Silva being managed by super-agent Jorge Mendes, who represents United boss Mourinho and a host of the Red Devils’ players, United’s chances of landing another stunning deal look strong- and it will see them splash the cash once again in the close season.

Silva has been identified as the perfect supplier to another Manchester United target, with Mourinho’s side feeling that the Monaco ace can form a deadly partnership with Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann- who United are also desperate to sign.

Our landlord is concerned for what these signings mean for the young players at United though, as he can’t see them getting many opportunities.

Is Bernardo Silva worth this incredible fee? Let us know in the comments below!
