Man United remain confident in light of recent reports over lethal forward

Considering the nature of the club these days, the Manchester United fans propping up the bar in the Transfer Tavern are used to talking about rumours regarding big money arrivals as they look to fully get over the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson.

So, recent suggestions that Marcus Rashford was growing frustrated by his bit-part role at Old Trafford sparked a huge amount of surprise amongst the Red Devils in the Tavern. Having taken to life in the first-team, for both club and country, in the most amazing of circumstances last season, the presence of a certain Zlatan Ibrahimovic has pushed him down the pecking order.

He’s said to have been stalling on a new deal, though there has been an element of good news today.

With United boasting such a wonderful history of producing young players in-house, the notion of him leaving already is almost unthinkable for our punters, who have loved hearing reports from ESPN as a result. They claim top brass at the Theatre of Dreams aren’t worried about rumours suggesting the 19-year-old is unhappy at his standing.

Having only penned a new deal back in May, there is reportedly no rush in tying the England international down to another one and he’s thought to remain a huge part of Jose Mourino’s plans, much to the delight of our locals.
