Our Manchester United fans here in the Transfer Tavern are keen to see their good form continue, with The Mirror suggesting summer could be successful too.
The Red Devils are in one of the best runs of form around at the moment but they still find themselves outside the Champions League spots as we head in towards the run-in.
Even so, there’s only a couple of points in it and so, ahead of next season, signings in the summer will be pivotal to who gets the edge in the coming future.
And, according to Monaco defender Fabinho’s father – United are interested in bringing him in.
“We have been in talks with Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal and approached by Barcelona.
“We like Manchester United and [Jose] Mourinho’s work, but we have a soft spot for Manchester City.”
There’s apparent interest from United, then, with talks seemingly held but it looks like the Old Trafford side aren’t the only club keen on securing his services.
The Brazilian right back has had a top season this year for Monaco in Ligue 1 with them looking good to maintain their title challenge.
He could fancy a move to the bigger Premier League, though, with it appearing that Man. City could be United’s biggest rivals for his signature.
