Much of the talk in the Transfer Tavern has naturally centred around Manchester United’s stratospheric chase of Paul Pogba, though it’s easy to forget Jose Mourinho may actually sell some players too.
While Juan Mata and the like are the most linked away, reports from the Sun have claimed highly rated playmaker Andreas Pereira is a shock target for Premier League champions Leicester City.
The 20-year old was reportedly a target for the Foxes back in January, though the Red Devils rebuffed their attempts to bring the Brazilian in on loan at the King Power Stadium.
However, the arrival of the self-proclaimed ‘Special One’ (barely noted for his patience in developing burgeoning talent), as well as the signing of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, could make playing time hard to come by.
As a result, Claudio Ranieri is believed to be ready to launch a permanent deal on the brilliant Brazilian as he looks to continue on the success story in the East Midlands.
Would Pereira improve Leicester City?
