Rumours are already heating up around Old Trafford ahead of a busy summer where Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be expecting to greet a number of new signings. Surely he has to, right?
Should things go his way, Man United would have spent a chunk of money which leaves them with a brilliant chance of challenging for the title this season. Indeed, his team have shown signs of becoming the European giants they once were so with the helpful addition of a few colossal signings, United could be well on their way next season.
If rumours (via TEAMtalk) are to be believed, the Red Devils will welcome a number of new signings over the summer period, potentially including PSV’s Hirving Lozano, a dynamic winger ready to challenge himself at the highest level. So much so that the report even claimed he’d asked Javier Hernandez about life at Old Trafford.
Lozano, (who is valued at £36 million on Transfermarkt) is a player that has been touted with a move to Man United on numerous occasions now, so Ed Woodward must finally make this deal come to life.
With pace being a key element to success in the modern game, Hirving Lozano accompanied with Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial would offer Man United one of the quickest if not the fastest front-line in world football. Of course, an attack that consists of those three players would be frightening for any defence to come up against, and all three players have the finishing ability to make their pace count.
Of course with all that pace, there has to be end product and Lozano has proved to have exactly that this season, with 17 goals and nine assists from out-wide in the Eredivisie alone this season. Man United are in the market for more quality and depth in the wide positions so the acquisition of Hirving Lozano makes perfect sense for the club.
