Man United suffer long-term injury blow (not Bailly)

Things are going bad to worse for the Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern, who were yet to be wholly convinced by Jose Mourinho BEFORE the 4-0 thumping at Chelsea.

With the team struggling, as well as Eric Bailly’s long-term injury, the bad times keep coming through the Old Trafford inbox it seems.

Academy graduate James Wilson has suffered a serious injury himself while on loan with Derby County and ESPN suggest the 20-year-old is set for an extended spell out.

It’s another frustrating tale in his burgeoning career, having struggled to capitalise on the early momentum he showed when initially breaking into the Red Devils’ first-team.

Amid the vast array of attacking talent he’s had to compete with at the Theatre of Dreams, he’s been largely on the periphery of the first-team and was previously loaned out to Brighton.

Unfortunately for new Rams boss Steve McClaren, he is said to have suffered cruciate ligament damage as his side desperately search for goals.

Can James Wilson still make it at Manchester United? Let us know below..
