Man United superstar offered Real Madrid switch but Florentino Perez had one major concern

The Manchester United fans here in the Transfer Tavern absolutely cannot wait to see Alexis Sanchez at Old Trafford. Indeed, while at the time of writing, nothing has been confirmed, it seems the whole world is waiting for him to move to the Theatre of Dreams.

As you can imagine, our resident Red Devils are already dreaming about a frontline including the Chilean, Romelu Lukaku, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial, backed up by attacking midfielders like Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard and Juan Mata. That really is exciting.

However, Sanchez’s imminent arrival complicates matters for one Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The superstar Swede has barely featured at all since re-joining the club over the course of the summer following a serious knee injury and has been linked with a move to MLS or China to see out his career.

Sad as it is, many of our punters believe Ibra is over. Still, reports emanating out of Spain suggest he’s been offered to another huge European club. Indeed, according to Mundo Deportivo Real Madrid are believed to have been offered his services amid their struggles up front this season, though Florentino Perez is reportedly not a huge fan of his agent, Mino Raiola.

There’s also thought to be a fear that his arrival would only make matter worse in the Spanish capital, where life is currently overshadowed by their dreadful league form and the Cristiano Ronaldo saga.
