Man United would be a lot closer to title challenge if they landed £18m-rated Juventus man

The Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern are excited for the summer so they can witness their team again spend a fortune on new talents, with the hope that this season, it’s enough to propel them to the top of the league.

Man United have the foundations of a strong team right now and should that continue to be improved this summer, the Red Devils will have as good a chance as anyone at challenging for the Premier League title. The Old Trafford side have to hold their hands up this season and admit that rivals Man City were the deserved champions, however this should motivate United even more to build an even stronger and better team.

A player that could prove a very good signing is Juventus centre-back Daniele Rugani, an up and coming Italian defender valued at £18.00 million on Transfermarkt. The 23-year-old has made 22 appearances this season and has gone some way to replacing stallion Leonardo Bonucci.

Man United, of late, have found a strong defensive partnership with Eric Bailly and Chris Smalling but with that an unstable relationship due to Bailly’s injury woes and Smalling’s worrying consistency, Daniele Rugani would provide the perfect substitute for either of those two.

With Rugani coming to the attention of other top English sides, United would have to act quickly if they seriously wanted to pursue the Italian defender.

Landlord’s Verdict:

Man United will want to become the force of England they once were and the only way our punters see them doing that is by spending in the upcoming transfer market. With that in mind, Daniele Rugani is a name who should defiantly be considered given his defensive qualities already at an early age.
