Manchester United: Aaron Wan-Bissaka attracts heavy praise from supporters following Solskjaer comments - Manchester United

Speaking to Manchester United’s official website, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has heaped praise on defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka for his overall contributions and has hailed him as one of the ‘best one v one‘ defenders he’s ever seen – with some Red Devils supporters echoing those sentiments on Twitter.

Wan-Bissaka, who has started 23 games for the Red Devils this season, is currently a staple of United’s defence – making the most tackles out of all of his teammates. The Englishman, who signed from Crystal Palace last summer in a £50 million deal, has since gone on to impress under Solskjaer – leading to the Norwegian singing his praises in a press conference ahead of United’s Premier League clash with Watford on Sunday.

Compared to fellow right-back Diogo Dalot, when he played fairly regularly last season, Wan-Bissaka has, of course, eclipsed his tackling rate (3.9) this campaign whilst making more interceptions (2) on average, as per WhoScored.com, prior to tonight’s game.

Taking that into account, it’s clear the former Palace man has added some much needed defensive depth – with Red Devils supporters acknowledging that fact on Twitter. Find all of their best comments down below.
