Manchester United fans are excited in the Football Transfer Tavern as their club are preparing a lucrative bid in an attempt to land two players from the current Italian champions in one huge bid.
According to Metro, Louis van Gaal is going to consider a giant £51 million bid for Juventus’ midfield maestro Arturo Vidal and their solid centre back Angelo Ogbonna.
The punters in the tavern believe the Red Devils boss will be handed another big pot cash in the New Year and it is clear that van Gaal is not afraid to spend big bucks.
He intends to snap them up in a joint deal and hopes to agree a fee exceeding £50 million for the pair before the January transfer window opens.
The Red Devils had been chasing Vidal all summer and it looks like they are going to do all they can to eventually get their man whilst Ogbonna would also be a bonus if they can tie him into the same deal.
Although Vidal is seen as the priority signing, punters in tavern are convinced that they should make it their priority to sign Juve’s centre back Ogbonna instead as their defence desperately requires significant improvements.
