Manchester United: Club’s update on Daniel James divides Red Devils

Many Manchester United fans reacted to a tweet from the club’s official Twitter account stating Daniel James has provided the most assists in the Premier League out of all the first team squad this season.
After arriving at Old Trafford from Championship side Swansea City for £15.3m last summer, James has scored 3 goals and created 6 assists in 27 appearances in the English top tier so far, averaging 1.3 shots, 1.3 dribbles and 0.5 key passes per game via WhoScored.
The Welshman announced he will be streaming on the #CombatCorona livestream to raise funds for charity to help those affected by the current crisis.
James ended a goal drought earlier this month during the 5-0 thrashing of Austrian side LASK in the Europa League, scoring his first goal for United since August, and credited club legend Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s influence in training (Metro).
Although he struggled to maintain the sensational start that saw him score three goals in his first four league games, the 22-year-old has still netted six goals in all competitions.
The Welsh international’s inconsistency has understandably divided the United faithful. Some fans have called for patience, with one supporter noting “some of these assists are world class.” Others labelled the midfielder as “selfish” and another commented “Bruno will overtake him soon.”

His work ethic and pace are sublime. He only needs to polish his final pass at times. A big player in the making ! Good signing. His signing fee is Sanchez one year salary
