Manchester United: David De Gea seems to be enjoying international duty

Manchester United’s David de Gea is a man in need of a break. Kepa Arrizabalaga occupied the starting spot in Spain’s 1-1 draw against Norway leaving De Gea, whose last notable appearance came during his St. James’ post-match interview, on the bench.

Indeed, perhaps it’s refreshing to be away on international duty with a different set of players after a miserable time of things at club level in recent months.
Still, De Gea recently signed a contract that will see him extend his stay at the club until 2023 and earn an estimated £350,000 per week, according to the Telegraph.
