Manchester United: Fans bash Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s comments over having ‘strong squad’

Manchester United take on Colchester United in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals on Wednesday night in a bid to potentially challenge for manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first piece of silverware at the helm, but supporters aren’t particularly pleased with his latest verdict that they have a ‘strong squad’.
Do Manchester United need to sign Erling Haaland in January?
Yes

No

The Red Devils’ last outing, a tepid 1-1 draw at home to Everton, ended a run of three consecutive victories in all competitions including a resolute Manchester derby win at the Etihad, with their upcoming cup tie against minnows Colchester looking to provide a basis upon which they can return to winning form.
It’s unlikely Solskjaer will field a strong eleven heading into the cup clash, especially with an away trip to Watford just four days afterwards, but the manager has since came out and hinted that they have plenty of players to choose from due to their squad depth.
However, some supporters could not disagree more, here’s what they had to say on Twitter.

This just makes me nervous for January. I really hope he doesn’t think we have a big squad.
