Manchester United: Fans buzzing about Victor Lindelof’s new deal

Victor Lindelof has committed his future to Manchester United, penning a new five-year deal at the club.

The Sweden international moved to Old Trafford from Benfica in 2017, and has since gone onto make 74 appearances for United.

Having started all five of United’s games this season, Lindelof has now established himself as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first-choice centre-half, alongside summer signing Harry Maguire, with this new deal signifying his importance to the club.

“Since the day I arrived at United it has felt like home,” said the 25-year-old.
