Manchester United secured an important victory over Norwich City on Sunday and built on that against Chelsea last night, but a social media release from the Red Devils regarding one player has got some fans calling for the club to loan out one of United’s prospects.
Tahith Chong, 19, is yet to start in the Premier League under Ole Gunnar Solskjær in 2019/20, although the Dutch U21 international has slowly made his way into contention at Old Trafford whilst making seven appearances across five competitions in both the academy and the first-team.
Indeed, the young Dutchman was left out of the squad for last night’s win away at Chelsea in the Carabao Cup due to those behind the scenes wanting to prioritise game-time for the youngster, who featured for their youth side against Doncaster earlier in the week as per the Manchester Evening News.
Here is what a section of the support online made of the youngster after the club tweeted about him.
