Manchester United fans are less than hopeful after The Evening Standard suggested there was big hope amongst the coaching staff for Anthony Martial this season.
According to the report, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is hoping his latest show of faith in Martial will see the France international perform on a consistent basis.

It is thought that Solskjaer will finally give Martial the role through the middle, something the 23-year-old craves. The Frenchman is also rated as one of the most clinical finishers at the club and his manager is banking on him scoring at least 20 goals this season.
The Old Trafford giants enjoyed the fifth-worst goalscoring campaign of the top six clubs in the Premier League last season, scoring just 65 goals.
Some fans have their doubts that Martial can finally produce consistent performances, like his debut campaign where he scored 18 goals and assisted 11.
Here is a selection of tweets from the Old Trafford faithful over the reports from The Evening Standard:
I give him 5 games before he enters one of his catatonic states in a pre-game warm up and gets benched.

Nothing in pre-season would suggest that.

A lot of faith to put in a guy who looks like it would be a struggle for him to push out a good morning to you each day at training

He will be disappointed. Streaky, moody and at times lazy.
