Manchester United: Fans eager for Lingard to leave amid transfer interest from European clubs - Manchester United

Loads of Manchester United fans are desperate for Jesse Lingard to leave the club amid speculation linking him with a move away from the Premier League.

According to ESPN, Lingard, who now has super-agent Mino Raiola acting as one of his representatives, is attracting interest from both Atletico Madrid and AS Roma. And several supporters now hope to see him move to either club.

Looking at his statistics from this season, it is not hard to see why. The 27-year-old has really struggled, failing to score a single goal or register an assist in the Premier League. He is also averaging just 0.7 dribbles per game, which is not great for an attacking player. From defence, even Luke Shaw has averaged 0.6 and Phil Jones 0.5 (via WhoScored).

Would Josh King have been a better signing than Odion Ighalo?
