Manchester United: Fans frustrated after reports over January transfer window emerges

Manchester United fans have been blasting the club after reports about the club’s January transfer business emerged.
According to the Manchester Evening News, high-level sources at the club have revealed that doing business in the winter window is ‘difficult’.
After the sales of Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku, there is a lack of attacking options with Jesse Lingard, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial the only senior options (via Transfermarkt).
The club have reportedly planned the targets for next summer’s transfer window, however, that could all be changed if the Norwegian is sacked by the club (The Athletic via Express).
Reports last week suggested that Solskjaer could get sacked if United suffer a hammering at the hands of Liverpool on Sunday (via Mirror).
The report about the winter window seems to have angered the fans, who took to Twitter to react.
Here is a selection of tweets from the Old Trafford faithful:
Getting the excuses in early. I like it.

‘Challenging’. Or in other words the leeching American Glazer Gnomes & the incompetent, amateur operator Deadwood Woodwood are refusing to open the chequebook. Our role as fans is to FORCIBLY remove them from our once great – now mediocre – football club.
