Manchester United: Many fans fume at latest Solskjaer comments after Burnley defeat

Manchester United’s 2-0 defeat to Burnley at home probably marks the lowest point of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s tenure as manager. Loads of fans left with less than 10 minutes to go and the main man’s comments after the game has got supporters rattled again.

He was slated for his positive comments after the Carabao Cup defeat to Man City, but in the league United are just six points off the top four. Solskjaer said after the game that he doesn’t want to “hang on to being fifth” but yet makes the point that they are in fifth when questioned about this being their worst league start for 30 years.

Man United news aggregator United Xtra on Twitter posted the quote, and fans were fuming about what their manager had to say. Many replied to slate him, with some saying it’s time for him to go.
