Manchester United’s blushes were saved by none other than 18-year-old Mason Greenwood when he bagged the equaliser against Everton with 13 minutes to play. The Englishman struck the ball into the bottom-right corner from just inside the box to seal the point, and United fans loved it.
He’s started just one Premier League game this season but has made 12 substitute appearances and bagged two goals in that time (via WhoScored). However, when he’s been given more of a chance in the Europa League, he’s netted an impressive four in five games while being rated 7.68/10 on average by WhoScored for his showings.
Man United’s official Twitter account posted the news of his goal on Twitter and plenty of fans were quick to reply. The reply section was filled with compliments for the youngster, and one fan even claimed he could be the next Lionel Messi.

Are Manchester United better off without Paul Pogba?
Man United fans, who would you drop if you were to fit Mason Greenwood in your team to play Watford?
