Manchester United: Fans laud Paul Pogba injury news as potential ‘mind games’ - Manchester United

According to a report from Reuters, Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba could be set to start his first game for the Red Devils since coming back from injury – having made brief cameos in the Watford and Newcastle clashes – but supporters have theorised what the news really means.

Will Paul Pogba leave Manchester United in 2020?

Yes

Yes

No

No

Pogba, who was missing for the better part of two months with an ankle problem, has started just five games this season – but the away trip to Arsenal could present an opportunity for the Frenchman to play his way back into contention, especially with Scott McTominay allegedly out for eight weeks.

Despite missing much of the campaign through injury, Pogba remains an important attacking outlet for United. Indeed, as per WhoScored, he leads the way in terms of key passes per game (2.3) and his 2 shots over the same period is as high as anyone’s outside of Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial.

However, judging by the reactions from these United fans, some are theorising that this piece of news is merely minded games being played by manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer ahead of the Emirates clash.

As a result, fans have lauded the move whilst also remaining hopeful that he could, in fact, start – here’s what they had to say.
