Loads of Manchester United fans were left scratching their heads after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer replaced Anthony Martial with Brandon Williams late in the second half of the 1-1 draw with Everton.
The defender came on for the Frenchman despite the Red Devils searching for a winner. What makes the decision even more baffling is the fact that Martial has been in great form of late.
He scored the opener in the 2-0 win over Chelsea earlier this month and followed it up with a goal against Watford shortly after. The France international has been struggling for fitness, something Solskjaer spoke about in the build-up to the game, so perhaps tiredness was a factor.
If not, the plan then was clearly to shut up shop and hold out for the point, a tactic some Manchester United fans on Twitter do not agree with.
