Manchester United: Fans not impressed with Brandon Williams’ stats

Manchester United fans hardly appeared impressed when Brandon Williams’ individual stats from their encounter against Sheffield United were revealed, as relayed by Utdreport on Twitter.
Williams vs Sheffield United:
100% aerial duels won
82% pass accuracy
7 ball recoveries
3 crosses blocked
2 chances created
2/3 tackles won
1 clearance
1 shot
1 goal— utdreport (@utdreport) November 24, 2019
The 19-year-old was arguably one of the Red Devils’ best players on the pitch on Sunday afternoon, despite being held to an entertaining 3-3 draw with Sheffield United.
The youngster started the revival for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side with a well-taken effort, which appeared to spark some life into the visitors after being 2-0 down via John Fleck and Lys Mousset.
According to data compiled by WhoScored, only Marcus Rashford was said to have scored a higher rating than Williams, however it appears the stats that were relayed did little to impress any of those that were watching the game.
Many of the supporters took to Twitter to slam the figures as they stated that the teenager was far from excellent with his performance, with some stating that the data hardly showed the full picture.
Here are just some of their reactions…

This is why stats are misleading and people need to stop judging players by them, overall he was shocking

Let’s not get carried away, the eye test still says this was his worst performance in my opinion
