After Manchester United succumbed to a 2-0 loss away to Arsenal on New Year’s Day, former star Robin van Persie gave his verdict on manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to BT Sport via United Xtra – with fans leaping to praise the Dutchman for his candid opinions on their under-fire boss. 

Van Persie, who scored 58 goals in 105 appearances for the Red Devils, spoke to BT Sport about Solskjaer’s reign as manager – citing the fact he ‘sounds like a really nice guy’ but should be more passionate and ‘angry’ about their second 2-0 loss in four games.
