Manchester United: Fans react to Ander Herrera’s Twitter post
Loads of Manchester United fans have reacted to a Twitter post from former Reds midfielder Ander Herrera.
Herrera made over 189 appearances during his time at Old Trafford, scoring 20 goals and creating 27 assists in all competitions, before the Spaniard joined Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer last summer. The Spanish international won the Europa League, the FA Cup and League Cup with the Red Devils (Transfermarkt).
The 30-year-old has played in just eight matches in the French top flight this season, scoring 1 goal and providing 1 assist (Transfermarkt).
Understandably the midfielder’s tweet prompted lots of reactions from the United fan base, with several supporters poking fun at Herrera’s lack of game time in the French capital so far. Others implied he betrayed the club’s loyalty by leaving on a free transfer.
