Manchester United: Fans react to Paul Pogba comments - Manchester United

A lot of Manchester United fans are discussing Paul Pogba after his latest comments on returning to the club.

The Frenchman, who came from United’s academy, moved to Italian giants Juventus on a free transfer and he went on to win Serie A four times as well as the Italian Cup and Super Cup twice each, via Transfermarkt.

He returned to the Red Devils for £89m and the fanbase were drooling at the prospect of his return. The midfielder has done fairly well, playing 150 times, scoring 31 times and providing 31 assists, whilst also winning the Europa League and the League Cup, but his price tag has put a lot of pressure on his back and he is often criticised.

Speaking to the club about his return, via Manchester United, the 27-year-old said: “When I came back, I was really happy to come back. I left it and didn’t finish. I started something but I didn’t finish, I just went somewhere else. Obviously, coming back to where I started was, for me, why I was really happy.”

These comments are good to hear for admirers of the player at the club, but it has still caused mixed reaction due to the fact that he will not dismiss the various rumours suggesting he will leave in the summer, via Sports Joe.

If the World Cup winner, via transfermarkt, did return to the squad after injury and stay at the club, fans may be drooling over the prospect of him and January signing Bruno Fernandes, per Transfermarkt, linking up for the team next season.

Here is what fans are saying following the comments:
