Manchester United: Fans rubbish Mauricio Pochettino links and stick by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

Manchester United fans have rallied to support manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after rumours circulate that his job could be on the line.
Who would you prefer?
Max Allegri

Mauricio Pochettino

The Norwegian manager could only guide his side to a 2-2 draw at home to newly-promoted Aston Villa at Old Trafford on Sunday, which was met with heavy criticism from fans and pundits.
An own goal from the Villans’ Tom Heaton and Victor Lindelof’s second-half effort were cancelled out by two goals from Jack Grealish and Tyrone Mings to share the spoils.
The Red Devils now find themselves ninth in the Premier League table with just four wins out of their first 14 Premier League games during the current campaign.
As a result, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has come under immense scrutiny, receiving criticism from both fans and pundits since taking the job permanently towards the end of last season.
It’s about time Manchester United ended this futile exercise in humility and went after Mauricio Pochettino. It’s Manchester United, for God’s sake.

Supporters stuck by their current boss despite growing speculation of his imminent dismissal, making their feelings clear on social media.
Here you will find some of the most supportive comments from Manchester United fans:
Changing manager every 5 minutes isn’t going to solve anything. But I think he shouldn’t have got the job full time as we didnt qualify for the Champions League. He’s got to be given the full season.

Become a modern thing for reporters to urge club to sack managers. Like what Le Tissier said last week. If you put up a bad article, is it right they insist you are sacked? Ed & the owners the issue at @manutd not the manager, who needs time. #OleIN

Yeah that manager that after 4 years made Spurs look good & still won nothing. Utd fans are craving instant success & Poch doesn’t bring that. Few bad results & you’d be “Poch out, Pep’s available!” Whilst I agree he’s got better PL experience you’d might as well stick with Ole.
