Manchester United: Fans slam Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s update on transfer market

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer revealed he is happy with Manchester United’s squad and is unsure what the transfer market will bring, in an exclusive interview with Sky Sports.
Solskjaer’s side are currently in fifth place in the Premier League, three points behind Frank Lampard’s Chelsea, and United were unbeaten in 11 games prior to football being suspended due to the ongoing pandemic.
The Red Devils brought attacking duo Odion Ighalo and Bruno Fernandes to Old Trafford in January, and the stars have made an immediate impact, scoring 7 goals between them in all competitions so far (WhoScored).
Who will leave Manchester United the earliest in the future?
Ed Woodward
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
Ed Woodward has been linked to a number of top British talents, including the likes of Jadon Sancho, Jack Grealish and James Maddison, but the executive vice-chairman previously warned United are not “immune” from the economic impacts of COVID-19.
Speaking to football reporter Ben Grounds, the club legend said “We’re always looking to improve the squad. This uncertainty in the market now, who knows how football and the market is going to be, but I’m very happy with the squad I’ve got.”
Unsurprisingly, loads of United fans slammed Solskjaer’s comments on the upcoming transfer window, with a fan branding the Norwegian as an “idiot,” and another adding he will be “gone by Christmas.” One supporter lamented the club’s “lack of ambition.”

Sancho + Werner or I expect he’ll be gone by Christmas.
Rashford Werner Sancho
Martial/Greenwood/James as rotation options. We’d finally have an elite front line again.

He’s very happy with a squad that’s given Manchester United their worst premier league season as it stands says it all really

should be looking to improve the management too, failure to do so cements the lack of ambition.

A month ago Ole said we were ready to exploit the market and spend this summer, now he’s happy with the squad he’s got 🧐 he’s trying to lower the expectations 100% I don’t expect much this summer maybe just Ighalo or something 😕
