Manchester United: Fans want Fred to partner Paul Pogba

Manchester United kicked off their Premier League campaign with quite the statement against Chelsea, beating the Blues 4-0 at Old Trafford, but have since failed to win any of their proceeding three league games.

Draws against Wolves and Southampton sandwiched a poor performance against Crystal Palace at the end of August, where the Red Devils slumped to a 2-1 defeat to the Eagles on home soil.

United’s efforts this season sees them lie 8th in the Premier League so far. They host Leicester City this weekend in a must-win game at Old Trafford, and after three poor performances, some fans are starting to question manager (via the Express) Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s selection policy.

Brazilian midfielder Fred is yet to feature for the club this term, with Solskjaer preferring Scott McTominay alongside Paul Pogba in the heart of midfield in the club’s opening fixtures.

In a recent Twitter poll conducted by @ManUtdMEN, the Red Devils news outlet asked fans who they wanted to see partner Paul Pogba in midfield after the international break, and the so far unused Fred came out comfortably on top.
