Transfer expert Duncan Castles believes that Inter Milan could be one party interested in signing Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba this summer.

The Frenchman continues to be linked with a move away from Old Trafford and the likes of Juventus and Real Madrid have been interested in the past. However, Castles has suggested that Inter could become the latest player in this game while hinting at super-agent Mino Raiola trying to engineer a bidding war over his client.

Speaking on The Transfer Window podcast (19/02/2020), Castles said: "I think another club you have to consider here is Juventus and he certainly has to consider Serie A. Raiola's talked about him going back to Italy. Possibly he will try and involve Inter in that equation as they strengthen themselves as a club and become more competitive over there."

All things considered, the San Siro does seem like a viable option for Pogba if he does decide to leave Manchester United. Inter Milan are currently flying in Serie A right now, sitting just three points behind first place, and are being managed by Pogba's ex-boss Antonio Conte.

The two enjoyed a brilliant spell in Turin at Juventus, with the France international managing to score seven goals and assist another seven during the 2013/14 season (per WhoScored) as Conte's men went on to win the Serie A title. So from Pogba's perspective, if he really does want out, then a reunion with Conte at Inter does not sound like a terrible idea.
