Manchester United: Matias Vecino loan bid failure has supporters slamming transfer policy

Manchester United: Matias Vecino loan bid failure has supporters slamming transfer policy - Manchester United

According to a report from Sky Italia via Sky Sports, Manchester United have had a loan offer rejected by Inter Milan for out-of-favour midfielder Matias Vecino – prompting many Red Devils supporters to slam the club’s transfer policy.

United, who have yet to land a key target since the commencement of the January transfer window, are running out of time to secure much-needed additions in midfield – with their pursuit of Bruno Fernandes (Record) and Vecino so far failing. The Uruguayan midfielder, who has also enticed interest from Everton this window (La Gazzetta Dello Sport via Tuttomercatoweb), could be seen as somebody who can strengthen United’s middle of the park – having accumulated less fouls (0.9) on average in the league than current Red Devils man Fred whilst scoring one goal and assisting two others, as per WhoScored.com.

Despite this, supporters seem to feel that the Fernandes saga should be the club’s top priority, while also feeling embarrassed over the club’s transfer policy so far this window.
