During Manchester United's 5-0 victory over Club Brugge at Old Trafford on Thursday evening, many Red Devils supporters took to social media and congratulated loan striker Odion Ighalo on his first goal for the club since arriving on a temporary basis.

Ighalo, who signed from Shanghai Shenhua on loan back in January, has had to wait four games to get his first strike in a United shirt - burying a tap-in from two yards out courtesy of wonderful build up play from Juan Mata and Bruno Fernandes. Goals from Fernandes, Scott McTominay and Fred (2) also added to a dominant scoreline in which United sailed through to the Europa League Last 16. The 30 year-old will be hoping to add to his tally at the weekend when the Red Devils travel to fellow top four chasers Everton - whilst also praying he can help to fill a void left by the injured Marcus Rashford.

Reacting to his first ever United goal, many supporters have been applauding the forward on social media - with one fan claiming they should sign him permanently while another hailed him as a 'beast'. Here's what they had to say.
