Manchester United: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ed Woodward slammed by supporters over stat after Burnley loss - Manchester United

Replying to a statistic published by Twitter account UtdReport, Manchester United supporters have been in absolute disarray over the fact they are currently 10 points worse off than at this exact stage last season – prompting some of them to launch criticism at the board and manager on social media.

The Red Devils, who currently lie in fifth with 34 points and three losses in their last five league games, were better off points-wise at this stage last season under former boss Jose Mourinho combined with Solskjaer being appointed as caretaker manager after he was sacked.

The Norwegian, who signed a permanent deal last March, has managed to worsen United’s league form in his full debut season at the helm – prompting many fans to launch a tirade of criticism at the Old Trafford legend as well as under-fire vice-chairman Ed Woodward. This comes after United lost 2-0 at home to Burnley on Wednesday evening, with goals from Chris Wood and Jay Rodriguez cementing an afternoon to forget.

Here’s how supporters attacked the dismal statistic on Twitter – find all of their best comments down below.
