Manchester United: Red Devils fans fume at Michael Oliver’s announcement

Loads of Manchester United fans are fuming on Twitter after it was announced Michael Oliver will referee the Red Devils’ game against Tottenham Hotspur this Sunday.
United face former manager Jose Mourinho’s Spurs away in what could be a crucial game in deciding who finishes in the top four given the positions of the two sides.
The English official has overseen 293 games throughout his career, issuing 996 yellow cards at an average of 3.3 yellows per game, and giving out 41 red cards (WhoScored). Oliver has refereed 28 matches featuring United up until now, handing out a staggering 49 yellow cards at a rate of 1.75 per game, and dishing out 2 red cards so far (WhoScored).
The Red Devils head to London on a ten-game unbeaten run. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side notably beat derby rivals Manchester City last weekend in a comfortable 2-0 win with goals from Anthony Martial and Scott McTominay (WhoScored).
