Manchester United: Red Devils fans slam Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof’s interview

Manchester United defenders Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof gave an exclusive interview to the club’s official website, and unsurprisingly plenty of Red Devils have slammed the Swede’s comments.
Speaking to United reporter Gemma Thompson, Lindelof said “when you form partnerships it takes time, I’m learning his game and he’s learning mine and I think we’re getting better.”

The 25-year-old has made 26 appearances in the Premier League this season, averaging 0.5 blocks per game, making 0.7 interceptions, and completing 3.5 clearances on average, with a below-par rating of 6.67.
In contrast, Bailly has only featured in 2 games in the English top-flight after recovering from a nasty knee injury he sustained last year. However, despite the fact the centre-back has played in fewer matches than his Swedish teammate, he successfully completed 1.5 interceptions on average, made 3 clearances, blocked 1.5 shots per game, and finished with a higher statistical value of 7.07 via WhoScored.
Many fans clearly feel the Ivory Coast international would be a better fit alongside club captain Maguire at the back. One supporter called Lindelof the “weak link in the chain” and another added he is a “joke of a defender.”

doesnt compliment maguire in anyway. hes the weak link in the chain. maguire needs someone with pace beside him. bailly tuanzebe or smalling all more suited. mengi when hes ready

Don’t waste your time on Lindelof and Maguire. Eric Bailly is better than both. Maguire is better than Lindelof. So Bailly and Maguire. Bless me with Koulibally then you have a perfect partnership.

Mate, you can’t even time a jump properly. Bailly and McGuire should be our two CB’s

There’s no partnership that can be built by Lindelof that guys is weak, he can’t defend he only plays well when we have the ball but when it comes to marking he is a joke of a defender…. I like him personally but not as a defender mayb he can try Defensive Midfield Position.
