Manchester United absolutely dismantled LASK last night, putting a total of five goals past their goalkeeper and are now one huge step closer to the next round of the Europa League.
But interestingly enough, Mason Greenwood – who was on the scoresheet once again – further proved that he truly is a big talent well worth nurturing for the future.
Despite being at the very beginning of his United career, his gaffer, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, always believed in the young forward and Simon Stone was quick to remind everyone of that big prophecy from the coach.
Twelve goals for Mason Greenwood now. Not many people believed OGS in the summer when he said MG would get goals this season.

Greenwood has now scored 12 goals for the Red Devils across 2019/20 if we discount his goal in the Premier League 2 and in the EFL Trophy, which is quite a record for an 18-year-old player. Indeed, he also became the youngest Red Devil to bag 5 European goals of all time, breaking Wayne Rooney’s record.
It just goes to show how important and valuable the coach’s trust for a young player actually is.
Manchester United fans, did you always believe Greenwood would make it in your squad? Do you think he could become a star of the future? Let us know down in the comments below!
