Manchester United striker set to sign new deal worth £1.3M per-year

old traffordold traffordThe Manchester United fans here in the Transfer Tavern have not been overly satisfied with their form this season, in particular in the Premier League.

Despite their somewhat below-par form, they have managed to claim good wins over Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool, who they have defeated twice.

One major positive for their supporters who can regularly be found in the Tavern has been the emergence of some of their youth prospects, who have been given a chance to shine in the first-team.

Our landlord has spotted some really exciting news for the Red Devils supporters in the Daily Mail, which claims Marcus Rashford is set to sign a new deal at the club, taking his weekly wage up to £25,000 per-week.

The young striker has been in great form for United since making his debut in the Europa League and has scored seven goals so far this season.

He has now taken on his older brother to act as his representative and the new contract could be signed as early as next week.

One United supporter is nursing a sore head in the Tavern after a heavy Friday night session and he thinks the youngster is set for a bright future, stating that next season will be massive for the striker.

Manchester United fans, what do you think to the form of Rashford? How far can he go in the game?
