Manchester United: Victor Lindelof’s praise for teammate has supporters applauding

Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof wasn’t involved during his side’s 4-0 hammering of AZ Alkmaar in the Europa League, watching on from the sidelines as teammate Mason Greenwood sent a message to manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer – but the Swede just had to tweet about his brilliant performance.
The Red Devils stormed to a resounding victory inside ten second-half minutes, with a brace from Greenwood, Ashley Young’s strike and Juan Mata’s penalty ensuring they finished top of Group L in style and cruised through to the knockout phase.
Of course, the 18-year-old academy striker made all the headlines after their brilliant win, especially after fans had been calling for him to start more regularly in the Premier League.
Greenwood’s showing also didn’t go unnoticed by spectator and teammate Lindelof, who took the time to tweet about his heroic performance on social media.
As a result, fans loved his support for the academy graduate, here’s what they had to say.
