According to a report from Sky Sports, Manchester United have opted not to sign Real Sociedad striker Willian Jose despite being in the market for a forward - with these Red Devils supporters possibly thankful that they didn't land 'another Falcao'.

A piece of news from Sky Sports via the Metro had originally indicated that the La Liga club were open to offloading Jose to United, but those talks have since gone on to evaporate - with Premier League rivals Spurs reportedly in the hunt to sign the Brazilian instead. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is currently hunting for a short term option to replace the influential

Marcus Rashford who is currently sidelined due to injury. Compared to the Englishman, Jose just doesn't compete in terms of statistics - with Rashford accumulating a superior 3.4 shots, 2 dribbles and 1.1 key passes per game, as well as racking up nearly double the goal return before his knock, as per WhoScored.com.

As a result, some supporters could be joyous at the fact they will not be pursuing Jose's signature - with one fan comparing him to 'another Falcao'. Here's what they had to say on Twitter.
