Manchester United, obviously, really cannot wait for the season to end, so their summer rebuild can commence as soon as the referee blows his whistle. It's been miserable of late, as you'll now, so at least the end of the 90 mins against Cardiff City is a sweet release.

Indeed, after watching rivals Manchester City and Liverpool excel in the Premier League this season, United could only dream of being at their level, hence why summer recruitment is so important for them.

The saying that teams buy success used to be frowned upon but that is the only way forward in the modern game. City and Liverpool spent millions on improving their team and look how far it has got them both now...

But what if there was a way that Man United could save millions and still pose more of a threat next season?

Like for example, giving highly-rated striker Mason Greenwood a real chance to shine ahead of the next campaign.

Greenwood has been lighting up the youth leagues this season, with a hugely impressive 26 goals and eight assists in 29 games. Whilst he has been involved with the first team, training with them and being on the bench, the 17-year-old is yet to be given a real chance to show all what he is capable of.

Despite his age, United more than anyone will know it is worth giving youngsters a chance, especially when they turn out like Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard.

Greenwood has the physicality to put himself about in the first-team, as well as having terrifying pace and overall quality that could make him a real tricky prospect for defenders to try and play against.

Exciting times.
