Our Manchester United fans here in the Transfer Tavern are getting geared up for a big summer, where many of the fans are expecting maybe the sale of a big player at the club while the board continue to back Mourinho in the hope he can bring them the success they crave.
United currently sit in second, and are undoubtedly having their best season in the Premier League since the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson back in 2013.
However, it looks from the outside that there seems to be a little unrest within the camp and Jose Mourinho looks to be entering his usually explosive third season by setting fires off all over the place. However unpopular the tactics that have been used in recent times, Mourinho knows that he has to keep them at the fans and players onside.
Either way, our landlord feels that while Paul Pogba is still trying to find his best form again after a little rocky patch, it seems that both are on for a collision course come the summer – with Mourinho looking like the winner, as Ed Woodward and the board continue to back the Portuguese, with that in mind, our landlord feels like it would be one of the biggest mistakes to date and here’s why…
